• Needs another cat in the home
• Good with dogs
• A little shy
Hi there! My name is Walter. I was rescued when a nice family found me on a Marsha Sharp overpass. They didn’t think I was alive - much less survive. I was so emaciated that my eyes didn’t even have enough fat behind them to support my third eyelids and eye muscles. My eyes are still crossed but as my muscles strengthen, they’ll get better!
After months of medications, a healthy diet, and lots of love - I’m searching for a home to call my own! I would do best in a home with at least one cat as my older foster brother has taught me a lot of things that cats do (clean myself, use the litter box, and play with toys) I also enjoy his company and cuddles. I’ve been around dogs of all sizes and would do okay in a home with a dog or two, too! I have been around kids and like them if they’re patient with me. I’m shy and being picked up reminds me of all the times I had to be held to be medicated for several months, so someone who is okay with me coming to them for cuddles and pets rather than being toted around would be an excellent fit for me until I figure out I am not going to be medicated.
I am a sweet boy who loves my meals and really prefer can food over dry food!
My adoption fee is $150 - I’m neutered, have my 2 rounds of vaccines, and I’m microchipped! Please come visit me and see if I would be a good fit for you! Email email@example.com with further questions!
