MEET THE PUPPIES
looking for their furever home!
Hey hey hey!
My name is Bo Duke and I am a 6 months old male Doberman mix. I am a happy gentle soul that just takes a little while to warm up to new people. I am scared of new places and new people but with consistency I warm up very quickly. I was dumped out in a field as a little puppy and have been growing up in foster care since. I was covered in ticks and very malnourished, but with the help of my amazing foster family a am a very healthy dog looking for my forever place to call home now. I get along with just about anything and everything and if I haven’t met it yet I’m sure we can learn to be friends. I am good with kids but would prefer older kids since they understand personal space just a little bit more. I currently live with both large and small dogs and everyone is my bestie I would probably thrive in a home with another dog so that when you are gone I have a buddy to keep me occupied. I’m up to date on shots, microchipped and neutered for the adoption fee of $150 and can go on a week home visit to make sure we are the perfect match If interested in adopting me please email email@example.com or come see me at our adoption events that we have every weekend
My name is Bruno I am a 15 week old male chihuahua mix. I am such a sweetheart and so submissive. Whenever my foster mom reaches for me I automatically roll over for belly rubs because those are my favorite. I love laying in my foster moms lap, she keeps me so warm. My sister loves picking on me and is a little more skilled then me. I'm the one always left behind but mom gives me special treatment because she feels bad for me. My mom tells me her hand and ankles aren't chew toys but I haven't quite figured that out yet, but I totally understand the word no. I'm currently using puppy pads right now, and will be ready for serious potty training once I finish my vaccines. I eat purina one puppy food twice a day. My foster mom would so keep me but she said she has too many dogs already.
My adoption fee is $150 and that includes my vaccinations, neuter, microchip, heartworm and flea/tick meds. Come see me at the adoption event this Saturday from 11-2 at 8901 highway 87 building 119. You can also email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Hi! My name is Pinciotti, points to you if you can say my name correctly! I am almost a 6 mth old chihuahua mix! I am extremely cuddly and love to hang out on your lap! I’m not a fan of sharing your lap with other furry friends but I’ll share if my foster mom tells me I have to...I guess. I love exploring outside but don’t want to be out there long without someone watching me, I do a lot of cool things that I want someone watching all the time! I do great in the kennel but sure do love sleeping under the covers too! I do ok with other dogs and like to wrestle with my brother, I just have to be reminded that it’s not always about me! Im not afraid of big dogs and think I’m the boss so I would need a home where they are ok with that! I’m doing good on potty training but will probably have to readjust at a new home! I think I would do better in a home without small children, I want to be the star of the show! I hope you’ll give me a chance so you can see just how great I really am! Please email email@example.com to let them know you would like to meet me! I can do a one week home trial to make sure I’m a great fit!
This is Willow and she is a 4 month old lab mix. She is a very loving and playful pup. She loves water and a pool full of water will keep her happy and playing. She love to play with toys and gets along great with other dogs. She loves kids of all ages. Willow is kennel trained and goes in the kennel with no problems. She is still working on housetraining but is doing very well and has few accidents. She loves to go on rides in the car and it doesn’t matter where to as long as she is with her person. Willow is current on all vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $150. Willow will be at SPSPCA adoption event waiting to meet her new family this Saturday from 11:00-2:00 at 8901 highway 87 building 119. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any further questions about Willow.
Bandy is a 4 month old shepherd mix.
Bandy is an energetic pup. She loves toys and chew bones and will carry one outside just about every time she goes out. Unfortunately she does not pick up her own toys and bring them back in though. Honestly she NEEDS chew bones/toys in her life. She also likes to steal shoes and the teenagers stinky socks but will usually drop them with a stern no or eh once she is caught.
When she arrived at her foster’s house her front legs were bowed (Bandy legged is another name for bow legged) and would shake sometimes when she was sitting or standing still, and her joint above her front paws would occasionally buckle. It didn’t cause her any pain and it sure didn’t slow her down any, she would still play and run like there was nothing wrong. The issues seemed to resolve themselves with time, nutrition, and proper care. The vet said she could have some issues with her joints as she ages, but no one knows for sure.
She gets along with the big dogs in the house. Running through the yard or the house with them is one of her favorite past times. She can play rough at times. She did fine when the grandchildren (ages 2, 3 & 5) came to visit. She does need to be reminded not to jump on them and to be gentle. She did okay with the small, cranky, senior citizen yorkie that came to visit, but again she would need to be monitored with small dogs as she does play rough. She would likely do best in a home with other dogs to play with and help get her energy out, but she is an "in your face" kind of dog so would need doggie friends that can handle that.
Apartment living may not be the best situation for this active girl. She is crate trained, but it is not her favorite thing. She does fine in the crate at night and will whimper or whine but will settle down when corrected. However, during the day she will scream and bark for a bit (sometimes longer) to express her displeasure. She is working on house training but she is not quite there yet. If not taken out often and given time to take care of all of her business she will have an accident in the house. She has learned to sit on command, and she knows sit and wait when being fed.
She is up to date on shots, microchipped, heartworm test negative, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $150. If interested please email email@example.com or come see her at the adoption event on Saturday.
Meet Trixie. She is a 4 1/2 month old pit mix girl. She is very sweet and loves being with her people. She is shy at first but warms up quickly. Trixie needs a home that will let her run and play with her to get her energy out. Trixie can not be left outside alone for periods of time as she will get bored, miss her family and start digging in the yard from the anxiety. She needs a family that understands she needs lots of patience and professional training would be a good idea. Trixie is mostly housetrained but will need a patient family to help her master this. She does stay in a kennel when her foster family is not at home. She loves to play with toys and with her people! Her adoption fee is $150 and this includes her vaccinations, spay, and microchip. Trixie will be at 8901 highway 87 building 119 this Saturday starting at 11:00.
Hi there! My name is Daisy Duke!
I am 1 of the 3 dukes of hazzards pups. I was found with my two brothers Bo and Luke Duke.
I am a 5 month old female Doberman Pincher mix waiting for my forever home.
I was found dumped in the country with my siblings, skin and bones, covered in ticks and scared to death with a broken tail (it does not cause me any problems). When I first came to my foster home I was timid and stand-offish. It didn’t take long for me to bond with my foster mom. I follow her everywhere. I’m always afraid she won’t come back for me. It took a little longer with the rest of the family but I have come around. I am not big on laying in a lap but I do want to be near my people. I am house trained (I use a dog door). I am not good in a crate. I get very anxious in there. But that’s no problem because I do amazing when left to nap on the couch until you get home and sleep on my dog bed at night. I absolutely love other dogs and am great at taking cues for what is appropriate for each dog I meet. I am submissive and roll over to show I am not a threat. I would do best with a dog friend but could possibly be content as an only dog as well. My foster mom says I am the sweetest thing and I will need someone who is patient enough to let me warm up to you at my own pace.
I am up to date on shots, microchip and spayed for the adoption fee of $150. I am available for a home visit that lasts a week to make sure we’re a good fit. If interested in adopting me please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Hi there, my name is Clyde and I am a 4 month old border collie mix. I have lots of brindle in my coat. I am still figuring out all the rules of being a good puppy. I love to play and wrestle with my foster sister. I love playing in the water outside so a kiddie pool would be so fun! I eat Purina puppy chow and treats are awesome. I am treat motivated so treats and positive reinforcement will help me learn my manners and training. I am working on house training so a lot of patience will be needed to help me master this! My adoption fee is $150 which includes my vaccinations including rabies, neuter, microchip, flea and tick meds and wormer. Please email email@example.com if you have any further questions or come see me Saturday at 8901 highway 87 building 119 between 11:00-2:00.
Hello Everyone, this is Pepperoni
She is a 6 month old, 32lb pit mix who was found by her foster on July 4th. Pepperoni is a very joyful pup. She was found with an injured leg that was determined to be some partial paralysis on her right side. Because of this she can be a bit clumsy at times. But she doesn’t let that slow her down one bit. She loves to run and play with her foster siblings, especially if she can play in the sprinklers. She is also a great cuddler and likes to chill out after a long day!!
Pepperoni is kennel trained. She sleeps in her kennel at night, and stays in there when her fosters are not home. She does well with other large dogs with proper introduction, but may need some time to warm up. She is curious about her foster’s cat but has never shown any aggression towards it. Pepperoni is house trained and will go sit by the back door and sometimes whine when she needs out. She needs a home where she can run and play to get out the puppy energy, but also come inside and relax and never be left outside for extended periods. She hasn’t been around kids, but would likely do well in a home with kids who are a little older. Pepperoni is such a great pup and is ready to find a forever home that just wants to love her and make her part of the family.
Pepperoni is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on shots. Her adoption fee is $150. Come meet Pepperoni on Saturday at the SPSPCA adoption event at 8901 highway 87 building 119 starting at 11:00. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.

I sleep in my crate and have done good not wetting in there. I get to go outside in the back yard at my fosters homes and love running around and playing! My favorite thing is food and treats. I am still young and being treat motivated I will learn quickly along with positive reinforcement. I love to run and play in the water. Be sure and have plenty of fun toys for me to play with and chew on. I am still a young girl and working on house training so I need someone who is patient to help me master this, but remember I love treats and that will help with my training! I will not be able able to live in an apartment due to not wanting to potty on a leash and outside noises make me very vocal. Please email email@example.com if you have questions or come see me at the adoption event on Saturday from 11-2.
Herbie is such a lovable pup, he has one blue eye and one hazel eye and very expressive ears. He is around 10 months old and is a boxer mix. Herbie is such a cuddle bug, he loves to snuggle up with you in bed or on the couch, pretty much wherever you are. He loves other dogs, preferably ones who are his size and who can play rough like him. He is not cat tested. Herbie loves all toys, especially tennis balls, and toys he can tear the stuffing out of. He has loved every adult and child he has ever met. He enjoys going on car rides, walks, and loves going to hang out at the dog park. He is very food motivated, and picks up tricks very easily. So far he has learned sit, shake, lay down, roll over, go to kennel, and he’s capable of much more! He is potty trained and currently working on mastering crate training! Herbie would do great in a home with another dog companion and lots of room to run! Herbie is current on all vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, heartworm negative and current on heartworm meds and flea/tick meds. Herbie will be at the adoption event this Saturday starting at 11:00 at 8901 highway 87 building 119. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Sugar was in a family with girls 2 and 4 year old. This is how he got is sweet name! They were not able to keep him due to medical issues. We shortened his name to Suga or just Sug.
Sug is a red healer mix which means he has a lot of energy! He loves to run, walk, play and work. He is a very smart and inquisitive dog.
He will need a home that is willing to spend lots of time with him and work him to help get his energy out. He is too smart for his own good and requires a lot of physical activity to keep him out of trouble. He is only 6 months old. Which means he is in full puppy mood and does get into a few things when left alone and out of his kennel too long or when he hasn’t had enough exercise/mental stimulation.
He does well with other dogs and kids after he gets to know them. He is a shy and scared dog and takes a little bit to get warmed up to new things. He will alert you to things going on but as of now he will not be the one protecting you. He will be racing you to the nearest exit!
He is 100% crate trained. LOVES his crate! It is his safe place and the place he goes when he is ready to sleep. He is fully house broke and knows how to use a dog door.
Suga will be the best friend you never knew you were missing! He loves to follow you around and help in anyway he can. His favorite activity is digging holes in the flower bed for you to plant new flowers. He enjoys seeing what you’re doing and trying to find ways to be close. He will follow you to the end of the earth if it means he can be close and physically touching you!
Sugar is leashed trained. We are working on not reacting when other animals or people walk past us but he is improving with each walk! He also enjoys walking off leash and chasing his friends around the park. He knows the word “toy” and will bring a toy when its time to play. He knows “sit”, “come”, “down”, “kennel”, “treat”, and of course “dinner”. We are working on “shake” and “stay”. He does like to chew on things and needs lots of toys and bones to work with. If you leave your shoes out while he is left alone he will carry your shoes around the house. Doesn’t eat them just likes to move them for you.
Sugar will be a great dog! His adoption fee if $150. Shug is neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped. Please come meet him at the SPSPCA adoption event Saturday from 11-2. Please email email@example.com with further questions.
